Isabela State University holds Gender Sensitivity Training through the Office of the Extension and Training, Gender and Development, headed by Assistant Professor Victorina V. Metilla. The Campus Administrator, Dr. Rosalyn L. Bautista, graced the activity with the other Campus Officials. Dr. Jhamie Tetz I. Mateo shared her expertise to increase appreciation of the basic concepts related to GAD, such as sex and gender, gender biases and their manifestations, and how these biases result in gender issues and discrimination. Increased knowledge of GAD concepts and principles could reduce and eradicate gender disparity.
Faculty, staff and SAA, IICT, and Criminology students participated actively in the stated activity.
