The spirit of unity, compassion, and public service was strongly felt as the Isabela State University (ISU) Roxas Campus, through the PMISGAD Office in collaboration with the Campus Health Services, successfully conducted a Year-End Outreach Activity at the Roxas Lingap Center for Women and Children and the Marcos Day Care Center in Barangay Marcos, Roxas, Isabela.

The activity was spearheaded by the PMISGAD Office with the full support of the Campus Administrator, Prof. Dr. Emerson V. Barcellano, reflecting the university’s unwavering commitment to inclusivity, social responsibility, and community partnership—particularly for women, children, and other vulnerable sectors.

Barangay Marcos Chairperson Hon. Danny C. Gusto expressed his heartfelt gratitude, emphasizing the profound impact of the outreach on the community. He highlighted that the activity brought not only joy but also hope to the children of the Day Care Center and to the women and children of the Roxas Lingap Center. According to him, the initiative is a clear manifestation of genuine care, unity, and service—values that strengthen the foundation of a safe, compassionate, and resilient community. He further expressed hope that such collaborative efforts will continue to flourish for the benefit of all.

In his message, Prof. Dr. Emerson V. Barcellano conveyed his deepest appreciation to the PMISGAD Office, the Campus Health Services, barangay officials, Day Care Center in-charge, social welfare personnel of the Lingap Center, and the generous sponsors who made the activity possible. He underscored that initiatives like this outreach embody ISU’s mission to extend service beyond the campus and foster meaningful engagement with the community.

“This outreach is a reflection of our shared commitment to service, compassion, and inclusivity,” Dr. Barcellano said, adding that such efforts strengthen the partnership between the university and the community while upholding the true spirit of public service.
