In celebration of its 48th Founding Anniversary, Isabela State University–Roxas Campus conducted DALOY: Lingkod-Bayan para sa Pamayanan on June 9, 2026, at Imbiao Integrated School in Roxas, Isabela. The outreach activity brought together campus officials, faculty members, personnel, and students in delivering services that promote health, well-being, and community development.

The program opened with messages from Atty. Romano P. Cammayo, DPA, Campus Administrator of ISU-Roxas, and Ms. Learni L. Gannaban, Teacher III of Imbiao Integrated School. Both emphasized the value of partnership and community engagement in creating positive change and improving the lives of learners and community members.

One of the highlights of the activity was a health and wellness session conducted by the ISU-Roxas Medical Team. The participants learned about proper cleanliness, personal hygiene, and healthy lifestyle practices. The session aimed to raise awareness on the importance of maintaining good health and developing habits that contribute to overall well-being.

To further support the learners, hygiene kits containing essential personal care items and food packs were distributed to all participants. The hygiene kits were generously donated by Hon. Jonathan Jose “Totep” C. Calderon, Board Member of the 5th District of Isabela, while the food packs were provided by the Local Government Unit of Roxas, Isabela under the leadership of Hon. Benedict C. Calderon, Municipal Mayor. These contributions complemented the health education session and demonstrated the shared commitment of ISU-Roxas and its partners to promoting the health, welfare, and well-being of the community.

The outreach initiative supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-Being) through health promotion and hygiene awareness, SDG 4 (Quality Education) through community-based learning, and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) through the collaborative efforts among ISU-Roxas, Imbiao Integrated School, the Office of Hon. Jonathan Jose “Totep” C. Calderon, and the Local Government Unit of Roxas, Isabela. The activity also reflects the principles recognized by the World University Rankings for Innovation (WURI) by demonstrating social responsibility, community engagement, and the University’s commitment to creating meaningful impact beyond academic instruction.

The activity concluded with expressions of gratitude from both ISU-Roxas and Imbiao Integrated School for the successful implementation of the program. Through DALOY: Lingkod-Bayan para sa Pamayanan, ISU-Roxas continues to strengthen its partnership with local communities and uphold its mission of providing quality service, fostering collaboration, and making a lasting difference in the lives of the people it serves.
