On September 13, 2024, the College of Education of Isabela State University Roxas Campus hosted a consultative meeting at Matusalem Elementary School, bringing together the parents of learners who will benefit from the literacy and numeracy intervention program. The meeting was also attended by the School Literacy Coordinator, Ms. Annalyn S. Wana, and the School Numeracy Coordinator, Ms. Dionicia D. Lardizabal, underscoring the school’s commitment to addressing academic gaps in these critical areas.
The consultative meeting aimed to inform parents about the upcoming intervention program, designed to assist students who struggle with literacy and numeracy. During the meeting, parents voiced their strong support for the initiative, affirming their commitment by signing consent forms for their children’s participation.
