On August 15, 2024, Isabela State University Roxas Campus (ISUR) underwent institutional and program monitoring conducted by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Region 2. The evaluation focused on the Administration, Faculty, curriculum, library, laboratory, research, OJT/internship, community extension services, networking and linkages, board examination performance and student services particularly for the programs Bachelor of Science in Agriculture (BSA), Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness (BSAB) and Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSEd). The  monitorinh was carried out by Dr. Almacita P. Abrigo, Dr. Jocelyn P. Carag, Mr. Don R. Dela Cruz, and Engr. Joven B. Jacinto.

The purpose of this monitoring was to assess ISUR’s compliance with the policies, standards and guidelines set by CHED for certain programs.Dr. Rosalyn L. Bautista, the campus administrator, has committed to addressing all findings and recommendations from the Commission to further enhance the quality of education at ISUR.

This monitoring process is an integral part of ISU’s quality assurance policy, which involves periodic reviews to ensure continuous improvement and sustained academic excellence. Additionally, this evaluation underscores ISUR’s commitment to achieving Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG 4) by providing quality education. It also highlights the university’s dedication to Sustainable Development Goal 17 (SDG 17) through ongoing consultation and partnership with the Commission, ultimately contributing to a more robust institution, as aligned with Sustainable Development Goal 16 (SDG 16).
