In line with the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG), ISUR continues to promote gender equality by celebrating National Women’s Month today, March 11, 2024, with the theme, “Lipunang Patas sa Bagong Pilipinas: Kakayahan ng Kababaihan Patunayan!”. Simultaneous programs were conducted across the campus and its three sites. The celebration’s banner was raised during the opening program. In the midst of the activity, students honor women employees for their significance in the institution by giving them flowers.

Highlighting women’s empowerment and inclusivity of all genders, Dr. Rosalyn L. Bautista, the campus administrator, calls for reflection on the progress made toward gender equality and the renewal of commitment to create a more inclusive and equitable world for all. “I am wishing for stronger solidarity, fostering a sense of sisterhood, support, and collaboration in pursuing our common goals,” she added. She also talks about the five things to be an inspiring woman: have purpose, believe in what you are doing, have empathy, encourage others, and think big.

Before the program closed, Mr. Joey C. Cereno, the Gender and Development (GAD) focal person, announced the list of university and campus activities throughout the month pertaining to the said celebration, which are as follows:
