ISU ROXAS’ MASSIVE CLEAN-UP DRIVE TARGETS THE ELIMINATION OF MOSQUITO-BORNE DISEASES
Through the combined forces of the faculty, staff and students of ISU Roxas, the massive clean-up drive was launched on the three sites namely, East site, Mid site, and West site.
This is to ensure the observance of “Todas Dengue, Todo na ‘to: Ika-siyam na kagat” yesterday, July 26.
According to the Executive Order No. 07-22, Series of 2022, issued by the office of the Governor, Province of Isabela, there are already around 34, 000 reported dengue cases during the first half of 2022 and expects to go high when rainy season begins.
Hence, the clean-up drive targets to prevent dengue fever and other mosquito-borne diseases.
Dr. Eddie I. Peru, the Campus Administrator, together with the ISU Roxas faculty and staff took the initiative in the said massive clean-up drive of the three aforementioned sites.
