Isabela State University–Roxas Campus warmly welcomed Atty. Romano P. Cammayo as the newly designated Campus Administrator, effective April 13, 2026.

Atty. Cammayo previously served as Vice President for Administration and Finance Services from 2017 to 2024. His installation was attended by the University’s top management officials, including Prof. Dr. Hilda A. Manzolin, Vice President for Administration and Finance; Prof. Dr. Isagani P. Angeles, Vice President for Planning and Development; Prof. Dr. Orlando F. Balderama, Vice President for Research, Development, Extension, and Training; Prof. Dr. Precila C. Delima, Vice President for Academic Affairs; and University President Prof. Dr. Boyert L. Batang.

In his message, President Batang emphasized that Atty. Cammayo’s designation reflects the collective decision of the University’s management and signifies their trust and confidence in his leadership to maintain a neutral and progressive environment. He called on the entire academic community to work together in unity toward a “makabago, inklusibo, at maunlad na Isabela State University.”

The President also expressed his gratitude to the outgoing Campus Administrator, Prof. Dr. Emerson V. Barcellano, for his dedicated eleven months of service. He further encouraged students to remain diligent in their studies, reminding them to prioritize compliance before raising concerns.

The ceremony included the formal oath-taking of Atty. Cammayo, followed by the turnover of responsibilities from Prof. Dr. Barcellano. In his farewell message, Dr. Barcellano extended his appreciation to the campus community and urged continued support for the new administration for the benefit of ISU–Roxas.

In his acceptance speech, Atty. Cammayo expressed optimism and commitment, stating, “Marami pa tayong magagawa with unity and cooperation for the progress of Isabela State University–Roxas Campus.”
