Isabela State University Roxas Campus formally recognized its newly licensed criminologists during the “Tribute to the New ISUans Criminologists” held on May 14, 2026, at the campus Mini-Theater in Matusalem, Roxas, Isabela.

The recognition program honored the successful passers of the September 2025 and February 2026 Criminology Licensure Examination (CLE), attended by University officials, faculty members, students, parents, and families of the board passers.

A major highlight of the event was the recognition of the campus’ exceptional performance in the February 2026 CLE, where ISU Roxas posted a 91.30% overall passing rate and earned the distinction as the Top 6 Performing School nationwide under Category D. The campus also produced 51 newly registered criminologists, further reinforcing its standing as one of the region’s leading institutions in criminology education.

Campus Administrator Atty. Romano P. Cammayo, DPA, commended the board passers for their perseverance and dedication, emphasizing that their success brought honor and prestige not only to the University but also to the Municipality of Roxas and the Province of Isabela.

During the program, Atty. Cammayo also disclosed that Municipal Mayor Hon. Benedict C. Calderon pledged ₱10 million worth of infrastructure support for the continued development of the College of Criminal Justice Education (CCJE). The proposed projects aim to improve the College’s facilities and strengthen the learning environment for future criminology students.

University officials said the initiative aligns with the University’s SMART Green University program and supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 on Quality Education and SDG 16 on Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions.

The ceremony concluded with messages encouraging the newly licensed criminologists to uphold integrity, professionalism, and dedication in the practice of their profession and in service to the community.
