On September 7, 2026, at 1:00 p.m., the Campus Peace and Development Forum was successfully conducted at the ISUR Mini Theater, Matusalem, Roxas, Isabela.

The activity was conducted in coordination with the Philippine Air Force (PAF) – Tactical Operations Group 2 (TOG 2) as part of its initiatives to promote peace, development, public awareness, responsible citizenship, and national security consciousness among members of the academic community.

The forum was attended by first-year and second-year Bachelor of Science in Law Enforcement Administration (BSLEA) students of the College of Criminal Justice Education (CCJE), together with student leaders from other colleges of Isabela State University – Roxas Campus. Their participation provided an opportunity to gain relevant knowledge and insights on matters concerning law, peace and development, civic awareness, national security, and responsible citizenship.

The activity featured distinguished speakers who shared their expertise and perspectives on topics relevant to the students and the objectives of the forum. PSSg Loraine Camacho discussed Republic Act No. 10627, or the Anti-Bullying Act of 2013, emphasizing the importance of awareness, prevention, and responsible behavior in maintaining a safe, inclusive, and respectful school environment.

Meanwhile, PSSg Jeron Fernandez discussed Republic Act No. 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, providing the participants with relevant information on drug prevention, applicable legal provisions, and the significant role of young people in promoting a safe and drug-free community.

The forum also featured ARD Jack Espiritu, Assistant Regional Director of the National Intelligence Coordinating Agency (NICA) Region 2, who shared valuable insights on peace and development, national awareness, and security-related concerns. His discussion provided the participants with a broader understanding of the importance of being informed, vigilant, responsible, and actively involved in matters affecting the community and the nation.

The activity was also graced by Atty. Romano P. Cammayo, Campus Administrator, who expressed his support for the conduct of the forum and highlighted its general importance to the students and the academic community. He emphasized the value of equipping students with relevant knowledge and awareness on matters concerning peace, development, law, national security, and responsible citizenship. He further underscored that activities of this nature contribute to the holistic development of students by preparing them to become more informed, responsible, and active members of society.

2LT Aileen Gleen F. Fangayen, Director for Military Civil Operations of TOG 2, likewise delivered remarks emphasizing the importance of cooperation, awareness, and active participation in programs and initiatives that promote peace, development, and community engagement.

Adding vibrancy to the activity, the Valley Air Warriors Band provided musical performances that enhanced the atmosphere of the program and contributed to making the forum more engaging and memorable for the participants.

The Campus Peace and Development Forum served as a meaningful learning opportunity for students and student leaders, providing them with relevant information and perspectives on law, peace and development, civic awareness, national security, and responsible citizenship. Beyond knowledge-sharing, the activity also strengthened the partnership and collaboration between Isabela State University – Roxas Campus and the Philippine Air Force – Tactical Operations Group 2 in advancing initiatives that support peace, development, public awareness, and community engagement.

The activity was successfully conducted and well-received by the participants. It contributed to the University’s continuing efforts to develop informed, responsible, and socially aware students while fostering cooperation, civic responsibility, national awareness, and a culture of peace within the academic community.
