ISABELA – A crucial meeting was held on January 8, 2025 between the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Isabela Second District Engineering Personnel, including Engr. Dan B. Laconsay, Engr. Edward B. Aranda, Ar. Mel M. Abella, Engr. Jerald E. Calauad, and Engr. Roger R. Banarcha, and Isabela State University Roxas (ISUR) campus officials, headed by Campus Administrator Dr. Rosalyn L. Bautista, to discuss the additional Php 10 million funding for the completion of the Multipurpose Building. The project, a key initiative for the community, is funded by Hon. Faustino Michael Carlos T. Dy III, Representative of the 5th Legislative District of Isabela.

The meeting took place at ISUR, T. Woodward Hall. The Planning, Management of Information Services, and Gender & Development (PMISGAD) Director, Mr. Joey C. Cereno, and his team presented the revised plan reflecting the additional Php 10 million allocation for the building’s completion in Fiscal Year 2025.

Following the meeting, the officials conducted a site visit and inspection of the ongoing construction, currently being overseen by DPWH personnel. The project aims to enhance the infrastructure and provide a fully functional multipurpose facility that will benefit the local community.

Representative Dy III has prioritized the completion of this project to ensure that the building serves its intended purpose effectively. The additional funding will cover essential enhancements to expedite construction and improve the facility’s overall quality.

With the continued collaboration between DPWH and campus officials, the completion of the Multipurpose Building is set to bring significant improvements to the area, reinforcing the government’s commitment to infrastructure development in Isabela.
