The National Service Training Program (NSTP) of Isabela State University – Roxas Campus successfully conducted its Graduation Ceremony for the CWTS and LTS Class of 2026 on May 20, 2026, at the ISU-R Gymnasium Oldsite. The event celebrated the achievements, dedication, and service of students who completed their respective NSTP programs.

A total of 509 graduates were recognized during the ceremony, composed of 456 graduates from the Civic Welfare Training Service (CWTS) and 53 graduates from the Literacy Training Service (LTS). The occasion highlighted the university’s commitment to developing socially responsible, community-oriented, and service-driven students.

The program formally opened with a prayer and the singing of the National Anthem, Isabela Hymn, and ISU Hymn through an audio-visual presentation. The opening remarks were delivered by Atty. Romano P. Cammayo, DPA, Campus Administrator, who congratulated the graduates and encouraged them to continue embodying the values of leadership, volunteerism, and public service beyond the university.

An inspirational message was shared by Dr. Aquim D. Verzon, University NSTP Director, who emphasized the importance of nation-building, civic engagement, and the role of the youth in creating positive change in society. He reminded the graduates that the lessons and experiences they gained from NSTP would serve as a foundation for responsible citizenship and lifelong service.

One of the highlights of the ceremony was the presentation of accomplishments by the NSTP implementers, led by Percival L. Domingo, CWTS Coordinator, and John Bray M. Ganaba, LTS Coordinator. The presentation showcased various community outreach activities, literacy programs, environmental initiatives, and volunteer services conducted by the students throughout the academic year.

The awarding of certificates followed, recognizing the successful completion of the NSTP program by all graduates. The ceremony also featured a heartfelt message of gratitude from Dr. Arvin R. Palapus, Campus NSTP Director, who expressed appreciation to the faculty members, coordinators, parents, and students for their unwavering support and dedication.

The graduation ceremony served not only as a celebration of academic completion but also as a testament to the university’s mission of producing empowered individuals committed to community development, social responsibility, and sustainable nation-building.
