ROXAS, ISABELA — Isabela State University–Roxas Campus successfully concluded its Intramurals 2026 on October 7–8, 2026, bringing students from different colleges together for two days of sports competitions, cultural presentations, and artistic performances.

The event gave students the opportunity to showcase their skills, talents, and teamwork while building friendships and creating lasting memories. One of the highlights was the much-awaited Mr. and Ms. ISU-Roxas 2026 pageant, where candidates showed their confidence, personality, and talents.

The College of Education retained its title as Socio-Cultural Champion, while the College of Criminal Justice Education emerged as both Sports Champion and Overall Champion. Their achievements reflected the hard work, dedication, and teamwork of their students and supporters.

More than a competition, the intramurals reminded everyone of the importance of staying active, supporting one another, respecting others, and working together toward a common goal. It also gave students a chance to learn valuable lessons that they can apply in their studies and daily lives.

The activity also supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being, which promotes a healthy and active lifestyle, and SDG 4: Quality Education, which recognizes the importance of learning and personal development beyond the classroom. By bringing students together and encouraging respect and participation, the event also reflects the values of SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities.

These efforts are in line with Isabela State University’s vision of becoming a model SMART-Green University known for making a positive difference in society. This vision encourages the university community to value not only academic excellence but also health, social responsibility, and care for the environment.

As the celebration ended, the ISU-Roxas community celebrated not only the winners but also every student who participated and contributed to the success of the event. The intramurals showed that the true meaning of victory goes beyond winning medals and trophies—it is also about friendship, respect, teamwork, and unity.

Through Intramurals 2026, ISU Roxas once again highlighted the importance of developing students who are not only talented and competitive but also responsible, respectful, and ready to contribute positively to their community.
