ISU-Roxas, July 12, 2024 — The Mathematics Club, Extension and Training Unit, and College of Education at ISU-Roxas hosted a training session on mastering quantitative data analysis at the T. Woodward Building, New Site.
The training, led by Dr. Januard D. Dagdag, focused on integrating quantitative data analysis into quantitative research. Participants, including ISU-Roxas students, faculty members, and basic education teachers, engaged in hands-on training with statistical software. The training objectives included introducing fundamental concepts and equipping participants with practical skills in descriptive statistics, correlational and comparative statistics, and regression analysis techniques.
Aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG 4) on Quality Education, ISU-Roxas aims to support educators and students in developing their analytical skills to meet the demands of a data-driven world. The institution continues to improve school quality and encourage lifelong learning opportunities for everyone.
The program concluded with closing remarks from Extension and Training Unit Coordinator, Mrs. Nancy A. Atchuela, who emphasized the importance of the training for participants’ academic and professional growth. She encouraged attendees to participate in future activities, including the upcoming training on mastering scale development through exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis.
