CITY OF ILAGAN, ISABELA | August 12, 2026 — The Isabela State University–Roxas Campus proudly celebrates the remarkable achievement of Mr. Pee-jay R. Mariano, a Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness student and active member of the Philippine Junior Agricultural Executive Society (PJAES), after being named Champion in the Songwriting and Singing Contest during the 2026 Coconut Month Celebration held at the Isabela Provincial Capitol Amphitheater, City of Ilagan, Isabela on August 12, 2026.

Representing ISU-Roxas Campus, Mariano earned the championship with his original composition, “Ani ng Pangarap,” an inspiring song that tells the story of the dreams, aspirations, and perseverance of Filipino coconut farmers and the agricultural community.

The competition gave young agricultural advocates an opportunity to showcase their talents and creativity while highlighting the important role of the coconut industry and the farmers who contribute to Philippine agriculture.

Mariano’s victory is a source of pride for the ISU-Roxas Campus and the School of Agriculture and Agribusiness (SAA). His achievement reflects the talent, creativity, and dedication of ISU students who continue to excel both inside and outside the classroom.

As an active PJAES member, Mariano also brings pride to the organization and demonstrates how passion for agriculture and creativity can inspire fellow students and young agricultural advocates.
