On November 12, 2025, the Supreme Student Council (SSC) spearheaded the Blessing and Turnover Ceremony of the newly inaugurated Student Lounge at ISU-Roxas Newsite.

This milestone project was a shared vision and initiative of two former SSC President Christel Dumaguing and Gerfred Pascua, whose leadership and dedication laid the foundation for this meaningful space. Their efforts reflect a commitment to student welfare that continues to inspire the current council.

The event was graced with a solemn blessing led by Rev. Fr. Elmer B. Lozano, whose heartfelt prayers and words of encouragement set a tone of gratitude and hope for the space. His presence reminded everyone that beyond being a physical structure, the lounge is a symbol of shared purpose, rest, and community.

This milestone marks a significant step in fostering student welfare, providing a dedicated haven for collaboration, reflection, and camaraderie. As the keys were officially turned over, the ceremony echoed the SSC’s commitment to creating inclusive and empowering spaces for every ISUan.

The Student Lounge now stands not just as a facility—but as a testament to student leadership, unity, and the collective dream of a more vibrant campus life.
